Our double burner Farriers Forge is a great mobile workhorse. The forge shell is very strong being made of 3mm thick folded steel. This forge will reach working temperatures easily because of its low thermal mass refractory lining. This also helps to reduce fuel consumption.
The floor of the forge is made from a dense 1700°C refractory material which is very durable. The forge has a useable floor space of 317mm x 203mm and the chamber is 88mm high (12½" x 8" x 3½") The floor has a large front opening of 317mm x 88mm woth an optional hinged door which helps to conserve some of the heat, meaning you can turn down the forge and still achieve the high temperatures.
These forges come complete with two heavy duty propane burners on a rigid manifold, fitted with a needle valve for fine adjustment and a ball valve for safety, 3m of high pressure hose and propane regulator with gauge.
